International House is a co-educational college.

Please note that International House does not itself offer any subjects, courses, programs or units for study.  We provide accommodation for students studying at the University of Queensland, Queensland University of Technology and Griffith University.

International House will consider all applications carefully and promptly, and will acknowledge receipt of your application within 5 business working days.  Approval / refusal of your application will occur at a later date.  Please note, submission of a completed application form and application fee does not guarantee a place in International House.

You can apply for accommodation at International House in a number of ways.

a. Apply on-line through our Online Admissions Centre or

b. Complete the Application Package or

c. An alternative for International Students is to apply via an Application Form on the University of Queensland website at Accommodation Services

All applications will be acknowledged by email. An Application Package can be mailed to you if you have difficulty accessing information from our website. See Contact Us.

To complete your application you will need to provide:

• 4 passport sized photographs
• one personal reference  from a teacher, doctor, youth group leader, church leader, colleague or family friend
• one academic reference  from your school principal, employer, lecturer or tutor
• a copy of your latest academic results from secondary school or tertiary institution
• the application fee AU$55 (incl. GST) - see Payment Options form 
• Additional Information and Activities and Events form  

For International Students - when available, provide a copy of your Unconditional Offer from the University of Queensland and a copy of your Visa.
