These Awards range from merit and academic based, to appreciating the personal challenges of study. Our Award Program is designed to encourage leadership, personal development and collegial inclusion and compassion for others. Recently, International House remodelled our Award Program and made some changes to previous offerings.

Bursaries are offered and paid in first semester of the year of the Award. Not all bursaries have an application process.

  • you meet all the eligibility criteria before you apply
  • you complete the application in full
  • proof read for spelling and grammatical errors
  • ensure your contact details are correct
  • include all supporting documents

In-house residents should return their application to the administration desk. Please ask for a privacy envelope.

  • IH will take no responsibility for applications lost in transit
  • no documents will be returned, so make sure you include only copies of your documents, not originals, with your application
  • postal applications are preferred, so allow enough time for mail delivery.
  • IH will acknowledge receipt of your application
  • applications will not be accepted by Fax
