About

International House is built on the fabric of people from many cultural backgrounds. As a result, we have a long standing history of celebrating and embracing Aboriginality in our community. Annually we support many initiatives as part of our celebrated cross-cultural calendar.

The Indigenous Scholarship creates a pathway for Indigenous students to access high-quality education in a culturally inclusive environment, especially for those students relocating from a rural or remote environment.

The scholarship is provided to encourage and enable Indigenous students to live and learn at International House who may not have had the opportunity to do so without the assistance of the scholarship.

Value

The scholarship will have a maximum value of $2, 000, which will be paid as a reduction in International House college fees.

The scholarship recipient will also receive all college meals over the 39-week contract free of charge with an approximate value of $7,410.
